Description:  Gorgeous Victorian rose cut garnet bangle!  Firey, rich wine colored garnets adorn this Victorian bangle.   The setting is a low karat rose gold, commonly know as "garnet gold".   Garnet is the birth stone for January.  It received its name from the Latin word for pomegranate, "granatum", because it reminded early scientists of pomegranate seeds. During the Victorian era, Western cultures believed that garnets would enrich the blood and provide the wearer with a long, healthy life.
