Description: Rare, one of a kind, Georgian mourning brooch commemorating the loss of a beloved pet. The hair work is on opalene glass. This piece is most likely French due to the presence of the forget-me-nots and the Cyprus tree, both classic French mourning symbols. The setting is high karat rose gold.
