Description:  OK, I admit it..I adore this ring so...I am bias but I think it is a great memorial piece.  On one side of this swivel ring is black and white enamel in excellent condition.  The color contrast of the two enamels and the gold make this side of the swivel very striking.  Within the enamel work, in gold,  is an urn and the words, "Jane Wilkie Ob 11 Mar 1812 Ae 82".  The other side of the swivel has beautiful rose gold initials, "JW" placed over plated blonde hair.  AND to make it even better, the shank is made up of two entwined snakes!! Now ask yourself, can it get much better??!  Well...it can! Inside the shank is a touching inscription, "to gratitude".
