Description: The workmanship in this ring is almost unbelievable. In the center medallion is an enamel tomb, outlined in gold and accented with a baroque pearl. If you look to the right and left of the urn and below it, you will see fine, fine hair work within the rose gold outline! Amazing workmanship. The crystal covering the medallion and hair work is superb also. It is multi-faceted, beveled glass. On the back is inscribed, "Henry Addison Esq. ob 8 Jany 1788 ae 25." The photos do not do the ring justice as it is difficult to see how unusually beveled the crystal is and how fine the hair work is on the ring. to see other views: http://www.mourningjewelrymuseum.com/mourning_jewelry/mourning_jewelry_images/6100c2.jpg and http://www.mourningjewelrymuseum.com/mourning_jewelry/mourning_jewelry_images/6100c3.jpg
