Item: Memento mori fob

Dimensions: skull is approx. 1/2 inch wide; entire piece is 3 inches long, not including swivel clip at top.

Condition: good 

Year: 1830-50

Description:  The skeleton on this piece has hinged arms and legs so that the entire piece moves.  The fob is made of some sort of metal.  I think we should call this piece, "Mr. Gruesome!" Note the white paint that accents the skulls teeth, etc.....gruesome!
