Victorian Gothic Revival silver and rose gold bangle

French sterling silver and rose gold bangle decorated with a classic Gothic symbols; a lion and two gargoyles.   The back is designed in the Gothic style also, with a pointed arches and gable theme.  Victorian Gothic design was closely modeled after the great architecture of medieval Europe.   It was at its height from 1855 to 1885.   Victorian jewelry in the Gothic Revival style is uncommon and highly sought after.

Bangle has 2 French sterling silver marks (eagle’s head) on the tongue as well as the maker’s mark of Godin.

Dimensions: width is approx. 5/8 inch or 1.7 cm; oval bangle will comfortably fit a wrist from 6 to 7.5 inches in circumference.  The exterior circumference of the bangle is approx. 7.75 inches.

Condition: excellent; clasp closes tightly
