Description: These miniatures are set in brass frames with a gold gilt. Written on the back of each miniature is the family history of each person. It is uncommon and very desirable to find quality miniatures with authentic family provenance. On the back of the ladies portrait is written, "Mademoiselle Benoite Berge, of Lyon, Cousin of Louis DeLorme. Her paternal great, great grandfather was d'Emmanuel and her paternal great, great, great grandfathers were d'Edouard and d'Yvonne and d'Ivan. On the back of the gentleman's portrait is written, " 1740 Louis DeLorme Pharmacist of the greater Chatreuse area, died in Venne. His paternal great, great grandfather was d'Emmanuel and his paternal great, great, great grandfathers were d'Edouard and d'Yvonne and d'Ivan."
