Georgian mourning miniature
Georgian hair art on ivory memorial dated 30 October 1827. One of the unique aspects of this miniature is the blonde hair that was used to create the memorial. The most common color of hair used in memorials is brown and it is quite uncommon to find blonde, gray or red hair.
The hair work is applied to a blue tinted, ivory background.
