Georgian mourning ring

Georgian 18kt. yellow gold ring commemorating the death of two young women, most likely sisters.   The inscription reads, ” Jemima King, obt 13 Sep 1813 at 46    Ann Edwards obt 21 Aug 1812 at 43 “.

The top of the ring features 16 natural pearls surrounding a plait of hair.   The pearls are perfectly matched and are a lovely cream color.    The ornate setting is heavy and beautifully crafted.

Dimensions:  US finger size 7 to 7.25

Condition:  excellent, minor wear to rock crystal covering hair

Year:  dated 1812 and 1813
