Victorian mourning earrings

Rare Victorian high karat mourning earrings comprised of faceted Whitby jet and hair work.    Plaited hair is covered with a beveled crystal.  Surrounding the multi-colored hairwork are faceted Whitby jet stones.  Note also the ornate repousse work.

Dimensions:  4.5 cm long or approx. 1 and 3/4 inches

Condition:  excellent; wires have been replaced
