Georgian mourning miniature

Superb mourning miniature of a young Georgian woman.   Note that she is depicted in the clouds; symbolizing her earthly departure into the heavens.   The portrait is on ivory and is in pristine condition.

On the reverse is a mourning miniature of mother and son.   In the foreground,  the mother sits beneath a weeping willow tree while leaning on an Anchor.  Her hand is extended out to her young son.  In the background, a river disappears into the sunset.   Setting is low karat rose gold.   The miniature comes with a note saying, ” Jane Green Jones 2nd wife of Amos Jones & mother of John Green whose picture is in the college ___”  (last work is illegible).
