Victorian buckle bangle
This 15kt. yellow gold bangle has a warm, rich patina with a slight rose gold tint to it. The top is decorated with a two dimensional buckle. Jewelry which incorporated a buckle motif was popular during the Victorian era. It was a symbol of love and friendship; that two people fit together like a buckle and a belt.
Dimensions: approximately 1/2 inch wide; bangle will comfortably fit a wrist from 6.5 to 7.5 inches in circumference. Gold weight is 13.8 grams.
Condition: excellent, no repairs or restoration, minor surface scratches on the back
