Victorian garnet, snake earrings

Hard to find snake earrings accented with rose cut garnets.  These 14kt. gold earrings are Austro-Hungarian in origin and the back to front fitting enable them to sit perfectly in the ear.   They are yellow gold with a rose hue.   Garnet eyes and a rose cut garnet atop the head.

Dimensions:  6/8 inch long (1.6 cm) ;  weight is 2.2 grams
