Edwardian suffragette necklace

Until the ratification of the 19th amendment in 1920, women were prohibited from voting.   Beginning in the mid 1840′s, women began to organize secretly to fight for their right to vote.   By wearing jewelry containing the suffragette colors  (green, white and violet),  women showed their support for the movement.

This English 9kt. rose gold pendant contains those symbolic colors of the Women’s Suffragette movement.

Give Women the Vote!  ((Green(peridot) White (pearl)  and Violet(amethyst))
