Turquoise and pearl heart necklace

Romantic Victorian necklace with forget me nots, a heart and a love knot.   Turquoise was the stone that the Victorians used to symbolize remembrance.   As such, it was often used in sentimental jewelry.   Pearls were often used with turquoise not only because of the nice color contrast but also because they symbolized pure love.

The setting is vermeil (rose gold on silver).
