Victorian ivory dog pendant

Delightful Victorian carved ivory pendant.   In the center is a dog prancing proudly in front of a tree; carved around the outside are roses and leaves.

Dimensions:  1 and 3/4 inches by 1 and 7/8 inches

Condition:  excellent, a few tiny chips on some of the leaves;  on the back are 3  holes which were created when this piece was carved.  (One often finds ivory pendants with brooch “holes”).   The carver drilled the holes just in case a client wanted the piece fitted as a brooch, rather than a pendant.
