Turquoise and pearl ring

During the Victorian era, gemstones were used to convey a message.  This ring was most likely a gift of love, as is indicated by the choice of gemstones used in it.  Turquoise was a stone that symbolized devotion and remembrance.       Pearls were used to convey the message of pure love; chase love.

The pearls and Persian turquoise are perfectly matched and set into an 15kt. gold setting.
