Victorian bloodstone seal ring

Having belonged to a person of Noble birth, this bloodstone ring has a unique intaglio carving. The carving features a Crowned shield with a pen nib in the center. The pen nib could symbolize that its owner was a poet or playwright. The Crown indicates that it was owned by a member of the Nobility.
The setting is 14kt. rose gold and has European hallmarks inside.
