Victorian rose gold buckle ring
Victorian rose gold buckle ring with ornate chase work. One of the unique aspects of this ring is that it is 12.5 carat rose gold. This is the first 12.5 kt. ring I have seen! In England, 12 kt. gold was used only from 1854 until 1934. After that, jewelry was primarily crafted from 9kt., 15kt., and 18kt.
This wide buckle ring is in pristine condition and has a lovely, rich patina. The true color of the gold is seen in the photos with the white background. The gold is not as red/rose as depicted in the photos with the black background.
